Who can apply for a job at Editor?

Anyone! Whether you are creative or commercially-minded, a young graduate or an experienced applicant… If you are gutsy, talented and driven we definitely want to meet you.

Do I need any specific qualifications to apply? 

You’re right. Some positions require specific qualifications. However, we review all applications, including unconventional profiles. Show us how you stand out, that’s what we’re interested in!

Do you accept people looking to make a career change? 

We’re interested in each and every application! In fact, we want to know everything about your former life. Take advantage of your cover letter to tell us about the skills you have developed and why they might interest us. Over and above your skills, we are first and foremost looking for motivated and determined people. Don’t hesitate a second longer!

Do you offer permanent contracts?

You bet! 90% of the opportunities available in our group are for permanent contracts. As you can see, they’re not an urban legend.

Do you hire students on work-study contracts?

Of course! Every year, we welcome around 20 interns, work-study students and apprentices. In our group, we like to support and integrate young talents. And as our driving force is energy and creativity, it’s a win-win situation.

Where can I find information about the work placements on offer?

You don’t need to look far! Our work placement offers are in the “Your opportunities” section, here, on our careers site. And don’t forget to send a spontaneous application if you can’t find a suitable position.

THE RECRUITMENT PROCESS

How can I apply?

There are lots of possibilities! The easiest is to apply here on our careers site. Your application will be received by the Recruitment Department and reviewed in detail. All you have to do is put the finishing touches to your CV and cover letter. It over to you!

Is it better to apply online or by letter?

At Editor, we review all applications equally carefully. On screen and on paper! You can submit your application here, via the job boards that publish our offers, or by post: Editor, Service Recrutement, 355 rue Georges Claude – CS 90385 – 13799 Aix-en-Provence cedex 3 France.

I want to send my application in paper format. Who should I send it to and to what address?

Can I apply to several offers?

Of course! If several offers correspond to your skills and your professional project, don’t hesitate. Just one piece of advice however, focus on offers consistent with your profile to maximise your chances!

I have done a search but I can’t find a position that’s right for me.

That can happen, but it shouldn’t stop you! New offers are published regularly on our careers site and you can of course send a spontaneous application via the “Your opportunities” section here.

Are new offers regularly published?

Our large team is constantly changing! We regularly publish new offers on www.editor-recrute.com. You can view them at any time in the “Our Job Offers” section.

Are all of the job offers on the careers site?

If you join us, you will very quickly realise that the professional growth of our employees is very important to us. When a position becomes available, we always start by considering an internal move or promotion. But every time we look for fresh talent, we publish the offer on our site www.editor-recrute.com and on other job sites.

Can I send a spontaneous application?

Yes! We strongly encourage you to do so. You can submit your spontaneous application in the “Your opportunities” section. It will be kept for 2 years.

How long does it take to review an application?

We know it’s hard to wait. We do our utmost to process applications as quickly as possible. If your application is selected, you will be contacted within 3 to 4 weeks. After this period your application probably has not been successful.

I have been invited for an interview. How should I prepare?

That’s great news! And by asking this question you have already scored points! To help you, we have prepared a few tips you can read here. See you soon!

My application was not successful. Will you keep my CV and contact details?

Unfortunately we cannot accept all applications. But that doesn’t mean that your application won’t be a fit in the future. With your permission, we will keep it for two years.

How can I receive information about the open positions?

We always try to say as much as possible when writing about our job offers. But if you still have questions, contact us directly on our social networks, we will be happy to help you.

I am having problems with your careers site, especially to apply. What can I do?

Don’t worry. You can send us your CV and cover letter at emplois[@]group-editor.com making sure you indicate the offer that caught your attention. If you continue to encounter problems, let us know on our social networks.

I want to answer a job ad. Do I have to attach a cover letter?

Of course! At Editor we are looking for passionate and motivated people. So get writing (or typing)! Tell us about your career plan and explain why you are motivated to join the teams at Editor.

Can I advance my career internally?

What is the level of pay?

How can I see what it’s really like working in sales at Editor?

As a sales representative, do you have to live in the geographical area covered? 

It’s essential! In order to be more available and closer to your customers. And for your quality of life of course. And that is just as important!
